‘The Family Star’ has performed very poorly at the box office. Made with a budget of Rs 50 crore, this film could not recover even half of its cost. According to the report of Sacknilk, till the 19th day of its release, ‘The Family Star’ was able to collect only Rs 21.37 crores. The film is not getting audience in theaters, hence the makers have decided to bring this family comedy drama on OTT only after 20 days of its release.

Written and directed by Parasuram, the romance family drama was released in Telugu and Tamil in theaters across India on April 5. According to Prime Video, “The Family Star” will stream in Telugu and Tamil in India and over 240 countries and territories , after which it will be dubbed in Malayalam and Kannada.
